I brought in a brand new, unworn silk tie that had a small mark on it. They got the mark out, but they placed numerous scratch marks and wrinkles in the tie. At least three employees saw the scratches, and one even exclaimed that they "did a bad job pressing the tie." After three treatments, the tie was better, but it was still not in the brand new shape it was in when I brought it. Although numerous employees saw the marks, the store manager and owner claimed they could not see them.
Furthermore, when I was speaking to the store manager and asked to speak to the owner, I was told that the owner was not in and she didn't know when the owner would be in. I went out to my car for a moment, came back in to the store, and found the owner speaking to another customer (who also had a complaint that this place put a hole in his silk shirt). When I called the store manager out for lying to me about the availability of the owner, she said that they "try not to bother him." (Why bother with customer service.)
I finally talk to the owner, who claims he cannot see the scratch marks I'm talking about, although one of his employees said he saw what I was talking about just minutes earlier. The owner then continues to say that it is just the way silk is; it gets marks like my tie has. Well, all of my ties are silk, I own many ties, and none of them get mysterious scratches/wrinkles.
