    Make a point to go to Thorntown to eat at Stookey's. Absolutely the best onion rings on the planet. Steaks are great to. Staff fusses over you like no other. Wife loves the catfish, alot of people drive miles for it and the onion rings. Not a catfish guy myself prefer their prime. Worth the drive, will be a regular for as long as they keep it up and I drive an hour to get there.

    Went there on a Saturday at 6:00 PM and it was packed with lots of old people. When a place is packed with old people it can only mean one thing, the food is good and it was. The food was good and the servers were Johnny on the spot with our orders and anything we needed. I would recommend eating there if in the area.

    Onion rings were greasy. Steak was marginal. Overpriced for the location. Should be more cafe priced than steakhouse. Drinks were weak. Not sure what's so great about greasy catfish. Must be a local thing. Waitress was nice, but food took a long time. Heard manager yelling at employee. Not the best impression. I've been to a lot of small town steakhouses. This one needs some help.
