User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis place was terrible!!! My Husband and I specified when placing our reservation that this was for our 1st wedding anniversary. They sprinkled rose petals all over our table. Which, was a nice touch.
That was the nicest part of the entire dinner. My husband ordered a well-done NY strip, we recieved it RARE after already waiting 1 hour for our food. My medium steak came to we well-done. They returned our food back to the kitchen for another half an hour.
Not just the kicthen staff was lacking that night, also our server never checked in on us and we had to flag down random wait staff to refill our drinks and return our food to the kitchen when wrong. Would not recommend, especially for a great evening.-

A few close friends and I decided that we deserved a nice night out on the town after a long week of exams, and we could not have chosen a better place. Our waiter was gracious and attentive (Jonathan) he began by telling us the story of how Ruth's Chris began, and highlighted the best plates, recommended excellent wines, and was just wonderful and personable.
The food was (sounds cliche) to die for. I ordered the special of filet mignon and lobster. It was phenomenal. And it was a real deal $39! For both! The waiter explained that the Ruth's Chris here in Indy is a testing site for new plates, and that I had the pleasure of picking that plate. I told him that it was the best piece of steak I had ever had, the meat was so tender and flavorful, that no steak sauce was required. The stuffed lobster was excellent, and was by no means a small bite. I also had a Cosmopolitan and it was perfect. Kudos to the bartender.
Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere, food, drinks, the staff was excellent,the bathroom was clean, and It was worth my money and more. The meals are priced about $20 or more, but well worth the money because of the quality of the food. I will be visiting them again. I highly recommend this Steak House. It is a nice treat to end the week. It is also a great place if you want to go on a nice date.

We just had our 43rd anniversary and I would go back in a heart beat. The food was great and prepared just the way my wife and I like the steaks cooked, hers med. and mine rare. the service so great we were never out of anything and they were all so friendly. Guess what my wife is getting for Christmas..thanks for making our 43 the best!!!
