So grateful for Wheeler Mission: My brother John left his home from down state to go to Indianapolis to find a Doctor. He was in very bad health and he knew if he didn't get help he would die. He thought he could get an apartment right off, but as you know that is not possible. He had nowhere to go. I don't know how he found Wheeler Mission, but he did and they took him in. I praise God for this place, because if it hadn't been for the Mission, my brother would have died. As it was he was put in the hospital and he had a open heart surgery and etc. He passed away in January of 2002, but they took him in, June of 2001. If it hadn't been for the Mission he would have died out on the streets. He was having a heart attack and they got him help. It is certainly a five star***** Mission in my eyes. Thank you so much for being so kind to my brother and others. May God continue to bless each and every one of you. Sincerely, Leota Ellis
