User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI've eaten there twice and the portions are large, but the wait staff seems "put out" at all times and when I said the brisket was fatty, the waiter proceeding by telling me "That's what brisket is, it's fat because it's from the shoulder." Whatever, just give me something I can eat.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFountain Diner: The Fountain Diner 1105 Shelby St. Indianapolis, IN. Located in historical Fountain Square, this is a really cool place to check out. I know because I worked there for a short period. The Diner serves up authentic 50s style fare, at a reasonable price and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The shakes are hand-dipped the old-school way, the tenderloins are very tasty and humongous! Next door there is an area to hang out and play pool while listening to oldies on the jukebox. There are a couple of bowling alleys and a theater on other floors, this place is huge! There is also a bistro-style luncheon. Rooftop dinning is also one of the attractions. Check it out
