I just returned from eating dinner at Acapulco Joe's. The restaurant was dirty, the menus were covered in food remnants, the service was unfriendly and useless. I tried to substitute a hard taco for a soft taco and was told it was impossible. When the food arrived it looked like it came out of a can and tasted horrible. This was an overall terrible dining experience. In the words of my husband, "Do not eat here unless you hate your money, your taste buds, and your digestive system!"
We went on a slow Sunday afternoon and just had the most HORRIBLE service!!! Wrong glasses for our margarita's, no lime, no salt, not even offered! The server was unfriendly, and rude to us. Most of the food was ok, but the beef fajita's looked like DOG FOOD!!!! When we complained they actually CALLED THE COPS and told them we refused to pay the bill!!!!!! I worked at acapulco Joe's in 1985 as a line cook we cooked the best mexican food in town at that time unfortunately i had to move to Dallas Texas for personal reasons but i agree with steve about his comments in regard to Acapulco joe's there is a history behind and the best food ,I remember rosie ,Ruben, suna,Bush,Lory, and all the rest of the staff that worked for Mr Joe Rangel at that time ,if i have an opportunity to come back and work at that restaurant i will do it again with out any hesitation to help and contribute for the tradition to continue
God bless America and Acapulco Joe's

What a horrible resturant!!! THe "new" one in Greenwood is absoulutely the worst. We went there tonite to see the wait staff coughing, talking about their trip to the ER for antibiotics, blowing their noses in the dining area. The food was greasy, the cheese curdled and the most horrible taste in the world, Greenwood has many excellent eating establishments, This one won't last long. The manager tried to give us a gift certificate and tell us that there was a sink in the drink area for employees to wash their hands.. I am contacting the State Board of Health in the morning--
