I must say that this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever encountered. There was no one to greet the guests and the dining room looked dark and not too clean. Our waitress took our order and did not returned for over 45 minutes. Not once did she check to see if we needed refills or update us on the status of our food. When she took our orders, she seemed as if she knew nothing about the menu. Also, there was a small child running through the dining room (presumably the son of the waitress and only visible employee). He later entered the kitchen and returned with a handful of food. By the way, there was no one else in the dining room; so it is not as if they were busy. We paid for our drinks and left without the waitress even asking what was wrong.
The best Mexican restaurant in its class. It beats any el Rodeo, Casa Grade, La Charreada or insert generic Spanish phrase here. The food is flavorful without the heavy Mexican grease or aftertaste. Tucked away in the lobby of the everchanging motel (currently Knights Inn) just of I-74, this restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and the food is served in a timely manner. Visitors and Sville citizens should leave the comforts of 44 and venture to North 9 just to experience this Mexican food. Try the fajitas, tamales, or arroz con pollo (chicken with rice). It is worth the drive.
