We used ASC to do our homestudy for an international adoption, and had a wonderful experience. They were prompt in returning our calls, and were always very thorough in answering any questions we had. I would definitely recommend their homestudy services to anyone who is adopting internationally.

While they do an a fantastic job explaining the process to you, as time went on, their service to their clientele decreased. When we would call for status (approx 1x per month) they appeared to either be in a hurry or didn't have much interest in discussing our file. I would have preferred for them to review it for 5 minutes and call us back with something of substance. Additionally, the birth mother stopped all contact with them approx 10 days before the due date and we were made aware of this. However, a week passed after the baby was to be born and we heard nothing from them. I had to call the adoption attorney involved to find out any information. Finally, there were numerous unreturned phone calls. They certainly not responsible for the adoption falling through. I do believe their customer service was severely lacking.
