User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI am trying to find out what happened to this place, For the past 6 Months the food at The Wooden nickel has gone from Great to dont want to eat there , The Beef sandwich went from Great and tender to over cooked and alot less beef, Skip the cream of Potato soup ,Its like Half mached potatos and nothing else I order the fish one time and it came out to me over 400 degrees and no taste or Lemon slice or Garnish, The Pizza crust is like cardboard frozen premade, I wouldnt waste my time write this if it was not true, Please go back to the way things where done 9 months ago and get a new cook !

Hi all,we have just spent a great time in town,much of that time was spent in the Wooden Nickel,having travelled from Ireland,Marsha and friends really made us welcome,at times it became a drag to leave the hospitality to go home--the cooking is great and you all can find something on the menu to warm your hearts,if not the friendly welcome of Marshsa and her crew,be sure to take in The Wooden Nickel if you are up in Northern Indiana,theres a welcome from home waiting for you --John/Karen+Toni-Belfast,N.Ireland
