    best coffee and servers around but the atmosphere is horrible..the music is too loud,the chairs too uncomfortable and tables too small..sadly,not a place to hang around and spend money and enjoy..its as if starbucks wants you to drive thru..competitors are places of comfort...

    The Best Starbucks Yet: I've been a Thanksgiving guest in Valparaiso, IN, this past week, a visitor from DC. The Baristas here - a five minute walk from Valpo U - serve up Starbucks quality drinks, but with a down-home, salt-of-the-earth, breadbasket hospitality you don't find back east. I'd like to transplant them back to the greater metropolitan DC area in, say, thirty or so places. Sure, a grande white chocolate mocha is the same in Houston, Denver, DC, or Valpo. But if you want it served up with a friendly chat, warm smile, and a little extra whipped cream, go to the Starbucks in Valpo...
