    Every time I have been to Indiana I have eaten at Maxi's.
    The atmosphere and service are like you can get nowhere else. I'm from NY, so I know good food. With that said: I would eat at Maxi's before I eat at ANY Manhattan restaurant given the choice.
    I feel more at home at Maxi's than I do in my real home. With 2 big screens in the bar area, you'll never miss the game again.
    Maxi's is right down Route 31 from the Notre Dame Campus, AND WORTH THE TRIP!! I look forward to going to Maxi's more than I do going to the game when I'm in South Bend. If you're planning on being in the South Bend area, make some time to grab a meal there. Put Maxi's in your GPS and SAVE IT. You'll be back! Trust me.
    Make sure you have room for the TACO STICKS. They're worth the 800 mile trip from NY!

    I love this place!! great food, great prices and service! You get so much food on the plate you will need a box! Great place cant wait to go back
