Free Wind is an amazing place to ride! Ty, the trainer, is so nice and really helps you if you're having problems. For example, I used to not be able to find my diagonal when trotting so during the lesson she pulled me over, told me what a diagonal was, and then had one of the other riders demonstrate a correct and uncorrect diagonal. She then had me trot around and would tell me when I was correct and uncorrect. I've learned alot about horses like how to properly groom, clean, braid, and lead a horse. Ty and everyone at Free Wind would never hurt a horse or one of the cute barn cats!
Free Wind also does excellent summer camps too! Plus, you can always just go over during spring break and ride! So dont be fooled by the previous reviews.

WHOA!: This was not a good experience. On the outside it looks nice but the people who work and/or ride there do nothing but talk about people behind their backs, stick their noses in everyone's business whether they want it there or not, and they don't seem to know as much about horses as they want you to think. Ty, the owner, would tell me that it is bad for horses to eat grass with frost on it but my horse has lived outside all her life and she never got sick from frosted grass. She would also yell at me about how I would lead the horses, mostly because her way required jerking on their heads and scaring them. I did not fell very safe around the horses there because they are used to being jerked aroud and that made them a little spooky. It just wasn't the greatest place in my book. Do want you are comfortable with but I was not comfortable there at all.
Don't trust anyone with anything personal or everyone will know about it in less than a day.

Boy was I wrong!: I have mislead anyone who has read my previous review. I thought this was a great place but turns out everyone, especially the owner Ty, is untrusting and backstabbers. I hate that this has happened to me but when Ty puts down people she does not know or know anything about and people who I care about, I loose all faith and trust in her. I don't know what I did to deserve the treatment I have recently received but it hurts bad. It has become an unhealthy and unsafe facility for horses and their riders. Ty did a great job in the beginning of covering up all the bad but recently has not been so good at it. I would just like to warn everyone and this comes from a person who loves horses and hates to see people mistreat them or not properly care for them and tells people that what they're doing is right. I just had to correct my previous review and sorry if this seems so harsh but its the truth.
