My wife got gas at Hucks about 3 Yrs ago, her mini van ran like hell for 2 months. We used different gas and never had another problem. I will never use Hucks again nor will I even get a pop.
I also use to stop at Hucks to get gas, on my way to work, i work in seymour, gas is alittle cheeper there. but i also have complained about the pumps not giving me a receipt, and the touch pads dont work most of the time. and i have to walk in, stand in line which i have complained about. this is what the manager told me, " he said mama you should'nt take it so personal" i said its supposed to be a convience to use my card outside so i dont have to walk in.....also my husband was filling his truck up today, and the gas nozzle didnt click off, gas was running all over the ground, do you think anybody cared that there was gas all over the ground, or offered to refund him any money...nope. the guy who worked there said there was nothing he could do.....should have cost us $86.00 instead it cost us $115.00. we will be going down the road from now on also.....
we have 4 vehicles for our business, we used to spend a lot of money of money at hucks, not anymore.
paying at the pump: I recently moved to the Austin area from Louisville Ky. I drive over 100 miles a day bak and forth to work. I have visited Hucks gas pumps three times using a debit card or credit card, and have had to walk in all three times to get my reciept. Each time I have brought to the attention of the clerk my frustration for not being CONVIENIENT to have to wait in lines for a reciept that should have been available at the pump. I now pay a higher price for the convienience of pumping and going at the station down the street. Yes Its true, I only use about 65$ a week of gas and I am sure my business doesnt matter, but it will catch on to other patrons who will soon go down the street as well. B. Robbins
