User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe Glory that once was Rome returns: I'm not a frequent casino player, mainly due to a lack of funds and the distances involved. However, a few days ago I made the trip from Lafayette to visit this establishment. All I can say is "Wow!"
In terms of style, this is truly high class, at least to me. The hotel is very well maintained. The restaurant and shopping area is high class. Even though I prefer land-based casinos, the riverboat (Glory of Rome) didn't at all feel like being on the water.
Let's just say that I hope to make a return visit in the future. Now I just need to save us some money. :-)
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsVilla Buffet...WOW YumO: The brunch buffet at $15.95...is really fit for a Roman God. There is selection from sushi/raw oysters to pizza/omlets...and ALL of it is first class GREAT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Our family cannot wait to go back....
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWill definitely go back.: The slots were not tight like a lot of casinos. I doubled my money in just a few minutes. Played several machines and won each time. The hotel is huge and very nice. My husband is not a gambler and he had a great time.
