I think that this place is the biggest joke. It has went to hell in a handbasket. Upon move in, you aren't provided keys to "amenities" such as the laundry room or the weight room. Halls are trashed, kids run rampid, the managers never here, and it takes 3 weeks to get maintence to do their job, even when the problem is listed as "emergency". The parking lots are dirty, their are bugs galore. I believe that if the manager could make it to work ,then things wouldn't be so bad. But your lucky to see him once or twice a week. He comes when he wants. I'm sick of paying ridiculious amounts of money to live somewhere that could care less about their residents. I'm still trying to find contact information on the owners of the property to ask them what the hell they are thinking having a part time manager. The pool is constantly closed. It seems to have been a problem for years, and management says its open to their discretion, well he doesn't live here, he could care less if these children had anything to do during the summer. Plus isn't that why the rent is so high, because of all the wonderful amenities? My advise, save your money. Or if your really interested, wait until they hire a new manage.

I was supposed to have an appointment so I could sign a lease...Thomas never showed up. Now I'm glad he didn't...if he was that careless with a future resident how the hell does he treat people who live there?

Dear krystallyn,

I am very sorry to hear that you have been unhappy hear at Tuscany Bay Apartments. I hope you know that as the manager of Tuscany Bay I would do anything with in my power to make any of my residents stay here as pleasant as possible. I am sure you can understand that when you RENT there are going to be rules to insure a safe and pleasant place to live. I would like to take this opportunity to go ahead and address so of your concerns regarding the property and its staff. The reason we do not allow skateboarding within the community is for the safety of the children. With as much traffic that comes through here we do not want the children getting hurt. In regards to being able to hanging curtains in your apartment home your accusations are incorrect. As I have explained to you and all of my other residents at lease signing as long as you keep your vertical blinds up and in tacked Management has no qualm with curtains. If a resident submits a work order for their apartment home maintenance will enter the apartment home with in reasonable business hours unless other arrangements have been made between the resident and management. Management reserves the right to enter any apartment home as long as reasonable notice has been provided. There are exceptions to that rule and that is if there is a maintenance emergency where either your apartment home is causing damage to another or visa versa or if an emergence crew needs to get in such and law enforcement, paramedics, or the fire department. When it comes to maintenance not being completed I do apologize. There is really no excuse for that other than we are human and sometimes we will forget. The pool and any other amenities of the community are accessible to the residents at the management’s discretion. Last season the pool was closed often due to problems with the pool pump. Normal pools hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10am to 9pm. I hope this has cleared up any of your concerns and if there is anything that we can do to make the remainder of your stay here more pleasant please let us know.
