Alcapulco Mexican Restaurant

Acapulco's ROCKS!! THE BEST frozen Margarita's anywhere. The waiters are all super nice & sweet and the atmosphere is lively and fun. We go often as we crave the salsa and Aroz Con Pollo. I have NEVER been disappointed by the quality (& Quanity) of the food or the service of the locations in Indiana. Adolpho can be proud of his crew and restaurants!

It's so hard to find good vegetarian food and Alcapulco in Lawrenceburg serves THE BEST vegetarian fajitas! Brocoli, carrots, onions, garlic, and peppers, with a side of rice and beans, and I am happy! The veggies are fresh and healthy and the service can't be beat! I could literally drink the salsa! :)

There are more authenic Mexican dishes than fajitas of course! Anything on the menu, you can't go wrong!

While I love the frozen margaritas and the food (most of the time), I have to say that the last three visits have left me with a bad taste in my mouth. As a regular customer - sometimes twice a week, I can tell you that when you place an order with any deviations from the menu you will probably be disappointed. I asked for no onions, got EXTRA. Asked for no onion the next time, GOT EXTRA onions. Last time I was there (7/3/08), I asked for NO ONIONS but EXTRA MUSHROOMS, got NEITHER! The Margarita was so frozen that even after sitting for 20 minutes I couldn't suck it through the straw. When I spoke with the manager, he laughed off my complaint and said "You got the shrimp didn't you? Let me ask you, did you order your food for the mushrooms or the shrimp?" I told him I ordered it based on how it was described on the MENU!

I ended up just eating the chips and salsa and felt cheated.
