Family Reunion Catering: We had Cabana Joe's provide catering for our family reunion of approx 75 people held June 10th, 2006 at Clifty Falls State Park. Simply put, I cannot say enough about the wonderful food and service they provided. They handled an enormous order large enough to feed a small army with professionalism and fair prices. Joe Torline-owner- kept very good contact with me through phone calls an e-mails.
It all ended up wonderful! The food was excellent and our whole family just raved about it! Everyone was friendly and Jacob went the extra mile, like providing a whole box of toothpicks, giving extra pork since it is priced by the pound with sauce on it and we requested the sauce be on the side, as well as giving a "little extra" on the sides to make sure there was enough, providing a very large baking sheet for carrying items to the tables, and protecting our car with cardboard. They also made sure the hot items were hot and the cold items were cold. This was a great experience for us. There was plenty to eat and enough for many to take some leftovers for later. We will definitely stop in to say Hi and have a chance to eat inside this great restaurant. They are professional, friendly, and honest and the food was supurb! If your looking for a great experience for food or catering, I highly, highly reccommend Cabana Joe's!
I Eat and Drink at Cabana Joe's Twice a Week!!: I Originally Went to Cabana Joe's for the Monday and Wednesday "Free" Texas Hold 'Em. I Started Experimenting with the Menu after Some Early Exits. I Had Heard the Food Wasn't All That Good, but I Was Hungry and the Next Poker Session Was an Hour or More Away. I Normally Sit in the Bar Where Edie Takes Super Care of Me. I Began Ordering Primarily "Bar Food"...Sandwiches and Wings and Other Finger Food. The First Thing I Found Was "The Bubba Burger", a Half-Pounder on a Pretzel Bun! It Was Great and I've Ordered It Many Times Since. Then I Tried the Buffalo Chicken Fingers. They're Good and Hot, but Not Over-Powering. Then, I Tried the Small Spaghetti with the Salad Bar....A Real Deal for $7.00!!! Where Did You Come Up with Those Hot Pickles, Joe???? Owner Joe Torline Eventually Introduced Himself and Asked How My Food and Service Had Been. I Told Him, and I'll Tell You.....Great, Each and Every Time!! A Good Wait Staff, Cold, Draft Beer with Monday and Wednesday $4.00 Pitchers, and First Tier Bar Food. Haven't Tried a Steak Yet, but Joe Keeps Suggesting I Do.....We'll See!! Thank You All.
