I like this restaurant it's clean and very nice.I go there or a Christmas party every year and had my grandparents anniversary party there.Every time I've been it's been nice and the food is always good, the staff are very polite. My brother worked in the kitchen years ago and always said how clean it was so I will take his word for it.The park is very nice we go there all the time.My kids love going through the village and playing in the creek. The caves are nice but you will do alot of walking and climbing stairs to get to them. The campgrounds are clean and calm. The pool is very nice it's the only one around I will take my kids to.The nature center has alot of things for the kids to do you and look at.I would recommend going to the park and while you are there checkout the restaurant it's good. There is also the hotel but I have never stayed there so I can't tell much about it other then it has gameroom for the kids,an indoor outdoor pool, and the restaurant in the hotel. The gameroom can also be used by guests to the restaurant.

Get back to nature and see the caves too.: I have been at Spring Mill several times in my life and their is so much to do. I enjoyed seeing the old cabins. One cabin showed how they made blankets using the manual woven method. Another cabin showed very old dental methods and another cabin had candle-making. The old mill was open and we saw how corn meal was made. In my youth, they gave cave tours, but the Twin Caves and Donaldson Caves are dangerous when the rains begin. Several people have been swept inside the caves. In the summertime, the walk to Donaldson Cave is beautiful, but an adventure. Wear proper shoes. The river is fascinating, but rocks can be slippery and cutting. The moss is slippery too. The Inn is a memorable place to visit.
WARNING: If it begins to rain, get out and away from the caves. The river and rain water has been known to flood the caves and takes people with them. People have been trapped in the caves. I only know of one who survived and was blessed to be found.

Well this is where the hiking took place in the pictures. I have to say that since they have changed many of the paths over the last couple of years; they really need to mark them better. However my daughter and I truly love to go there and get away from it all walking all those miles seeing nothing but a few straddlers and caves.
