    A trip back to Bloomington is just not complete without dinner at Samira's.

    I have yet to have something at Samira's that I haven't absolutely loved!

    Hard to believe my "little hometown" now has world-class restaurants. Samira is a *treasure*!

    I went there for lunch based on the reviews I read and tried the buffet so I could try a variety of dishes. Words that come to mind from my experience are "okay", "average", and "so-so". There was nothing bad about the place - but the food was not worth driving out of your way to get there. The mixed vegetables with okra was the best dish available - all the other dishes seemed to be under seasoned. The service lagged a couple times - but all in all it was "okay".

    Great place!: I've tried this restaurant for the first time a few days ago. Love it! Excellent service and atmosphere, and the food was wonderful. There is a good variety on the menu, and both a meat-eater or a vegetarian should be happy with the choices. I recommend the house wine, and they gave us a bigger pour then we expected. Can't wait to go back and try something else!
