The foil-wrapped tacos stayed warm and crunchy.
The owners and employees were always generous to the community, local school programs, scouts and more.
I always visited the resturant each time I came home from college and took some "specially prepared" and "packaged" orders home. Even after a three hour drive, the food was always delicious!
I was VERY upset when they had to close. I hope they have the secret recipes written down and some day someone will re-open with great success!-

I went to Vincennes University and always went to Taco Rail to satisfy my taco cravings...it's so much better than Taco Bell. They even wrap your tacos in foil to ensure that your tacos will stay crunchy after you get home and open them up. And real ground beef and not the Grade D meat that Taco Bell uses. Man, I sound like a spokesperson but just try it and you'll see. I live in Atlanta now, and I really miss me some tacos from Taco Rail.

Aaron, sorry to say Taco Rail is no longer in business. I remember them as having the best crushed ice Mt. Dew in town!

well ginger there is one in effingham Illinois if u ever get that way. Vincennes was the only other one.
