User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhat a wonderful place! The hotel offers volleyball, tennis, mini golf, horseshoes and more all for free. The grounds are dotted with patios and tables and chairs. There's a pond that you can walk around and over with benches tucked away along the path. There's another path that leads to the Wabash River. And there's an indoor pool and jacuzzi plus a sauna and a fitness room. A real fitness room, not just a treadmill and a stationary bike. Speaking of bikes, they have bikes you can use. Use, not rent. My room is wonderful. It's quite roomy and has a reading chair, a table with two chairs, and a desk. There's also a recycling bin! I definitely would like to come back here.

I found the New Harmony Inn to be wonderfully relaxing and peaceful which was exactly what I was looking for on this trip while handling family business across the Wabash River in Illinois. The pleasant room with comfortable beds and pillows and over-size bath towels was very comfortable. I liked the well equipped exercise room which I need for my daily physical therapy exercises. There is also a large indoor pool and above ground spa. The park-like grounds are beautiful with a lake, babbling stream, ducks and ducklings and with many hidden areas to sit, relax and contemplate anything or nothing. Since I have some mobility issues I rented a golf cart for a few hours to go exploring the grounds, the river and the town (which has a fascinating history). The pork chops at the Red Geranium are not to be missed. I can't wait to stay here again.
