User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsthe Y rocks! for a Y as small as they are they have a really diverse program. All the usual exercise classes to martial arts and several types of dance. I should know, I teach Belly Dance there. Did i mention they have a pool with an on duty life guard. The place is also REALLY clean!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYMCA is the best!!: I think that the YMCA is the best!! I havent been there in a while but starting this Monday I get to go swimming there for school!! I think that they are really clean and they take care of the visitors. If you are bored one day and want to go and excerise or something go there and hang out.... It's awesome!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOwen County YMCA: This is a jewel in the owen county area. The YMCA brings community together and you feel the warmth of the community. They have all of the fitness facilities that any family would enjoy including a swimming pool. It is clean and easy to access. There are many different classes offered and after school programs. Our favorites are the swimming and game room but there is something for everyone young and old.

My husband and I are both retired with limited income. We have Humana as our supplement and they offer "Silver Sneakers" free. We would love to get involved in some healthy exercise and only live 8 miles away from Spencer. Is that something that you offer or plan to offer?

Spencer Y is the only Y in the area that will not support the elderly on social sucurity or disability. They refuse to participate in the Hummana inrollment program for senior citizens. All seniors in Spencer must travel to Bloomington Y to participate.
Here we go again who ever you are grow up and quit using my name if you dont like spencer or anything about it leave were not stopping you...and like i told you before if you want to speak with me im in the phone book!!!! so call or grow up... be a man and grow a back bone and quit using my name!!!!!!
