Judging from other comments, we are not the only ones to have a horrible Turonis' experience. It is difficult to see how they maintain good ratings with such horrible customer service.

My family planned a fun outing for pizza and reserved a large table. The food was adequate (not great). When it came time to pay the bill, we noticed that the price on the bill was higher than the price quoted on the menu. We called it to the server's attention and were told that the prices had been changed but they hadn't had time to print new menus. We asked for the manager who said, "Too bad, pay or we will call the police." We then asked to speak to the owner who was equally rude and said, "if you are unhappy, just go somewhere else."

We will definitely boycott Turoni's. We would also encourage others interested in good pizza and good customer service to look elsewhere. This establishment does not deserve loyal patrons.

I made an over-the-phone order, calling to ask about salads. I asked them what dressings they had, I chose and then at the end I changed my mind. When I went to pick it up they had charged me for both. Then never showed me the break-down of the receipt but when they told me the amount, the drive-thru girl said, "Let me run your card first and then it'll print a receipt." I said that I wanted to know first what was on there. She told me there was no way to do that, so I handed her my card finding out that they ended up charging me for two dressings. When she handed me the receipt to sign I told her that I wouldn't sign it because that means that I agree to the price. I asked her to refund me the amount of dressings and she said she couldn't do that. I finally asked for a supervisor and sure enough in no time my refund was taken care of, so I know the drive-thru lady just didn't want to deal with me. I called later to speak with a manager about my situation and another incident that happened where I had ordered a pizza and it was burnt on the bottom... I explained to him the way I was treated and he kindly apologized saying that he would give me something free to make amends and keep my business. Happy with the result of their desire to change the bad taste in my mind, I came back about 5 days later for something complimentary. The manager I spoke with wasn't in, but they told me that they would call him because they can't automatically comp anything. I quietly stood at their stand waiting for the manager to get on the phone and okay it with the servers and supervisor on duty. To my embarrassment the supervisor said that they could throw in a couple cookies if I created another order. I said nevermind, since that wasn't how it was supposed to end up, and walked out. I followed up by calling the manager again and he said we don't give out food. I was frustrated saying over and over that the original pizza I ordered was messed up, why should I have to invest AGAIN in a restaurant who messed up my order. He said that he would make sure it came out okay, and I told him that I shouldn't have to "TRY" them again, and pay, just for them to make the food right and have good service. That should come automatically. Disgusted, I now refuse to ever go there or support them, despite the fact that they might have good food.

Forget that!!! A good business will try to make amends with a situation where they screwed up, creating a good reputation. Instead, I will share with anyone and everyone the way they screwed me over and made me look like someone who is just out to rob them from their business by getting free food..... not right!

Best Pizza I've had since I left Europe in 1968, also the service is real good. I've recommended it to all my friends and co-workers @ White County Coal
