User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOur favorite spot in Newburgh. Food is excellent. Salads are very fresh and bread w/olive oil dip is wonderful. We love the salmon and pastas. Especially nice on a summer evening with a great view of the Ohio River. Staff and owner are always very friendly and accomodating.

Do not waste your time or money in going to Edgewater Grille. We waited over an hour for our food. A family, 3 children, no alcohol was $148.00 plus tip. The food was not great. Their brick oven was not operational, so pizza was taken off the menu. It was so hot in there, a/c not working properly the waitress stated. Our food order was wrong. Besides all of those things, the service is terrible. The waitress and staff have not learned to serve from behind, properly or friendly. They continued to reach in front of you while you are eating or drinking. Leaning all the way across the table. Resulting in spills. There was a lot of space to walk on each side of the table. You would try to take a bite of food and they would just reach across you to pick up a used plate. No excuse me, sorry about, that nothing. It was not just the waitress, it was the wait staff that brought our food out and the person that came to re-fill drinks once in a while. You will get better service at Pizza Hut, Olive Garden, even McDonald's has more friendlier and professional staff. If you want the view, eat else where and then go for a walk along the river front. Also they do not follow health guides. They go from table to table and pick up dirty dishes piling them against them. They did not use trays. Over piled the dishes and have the food and germs on them and then go to the next table to bring you food or drink re-fills. They definitely have cross contamination of dirty and clean dishes and spreading germs from table to table. Save yourself time and money - Don't go!

Went there for breakfast. Food was bellow average along with service. View was ok. Would only go if having a few drinks with friends.
