The beers at Lafayette Brewing Co. are top notch, as is the food. I've been many times and never been disappointed. My favorites are the 85, the Smokehouse Porter and the Tippecanoe. Their wheat ale isn't my favorite, but it is unique and refreshing.
My advice for a successful and satisfying visit to LBC? Find out when Michael Kelsey will be playing on the second floor stage. Go early, have a Black and Blue burger with homemade kettle-style chips, and a pint or two of whatever's seasonal or cask conditioned. Then go upstairs and sip some 85 while Mr. Kelsey shows you why you should volunteer to have his love child.
Very good beer. Very sharp and accomodating staff.
The food is always good. Sometimes they have specials that are always worth trying.
One of the best breweries in Indiana.
Try it for yourself and see.
Go for the beer: I've never been dissapointed with the beer. The food is good, but I have had better. The atmosphere is great, the service has always been good.
