User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI used to enjoy Papa John's. Recently, I have had problems with one order after another (rudeness of order takers being the main problem). Tonight was the last straw. The girl who was talking the order was so rude and difficult that I became nervous about completing my order. Finally, I cancelled the order after the total was far higher than it should have been. The girl became snippish and informed me that there was a "built in delivery tip." Beware: they hide the tip in your total. I tip more than they build in, but I was bothered that they would HIDE a predetermined tip in the total. If I hadn't been paying attention, I would have tipped about $7.00. What happened to the original Papa John's Pizza company that I used to love?
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe last time I ordered from there, (which was about two years ago) was the last time. I asked for delivery, and made my order out. Then, the employee on the other end of the phone told me that my home wasn't in their range. My home is actually only about 1 mile away.
I told them and they argued. I requested to speak with the manager, but he was "Across the street at the store" and I was told to wait for his call back. I waited for about twenty minutes, and he didn't call back. So I called again, and he answered. Why he didn't call me back will remain a mystery. He said that I would need to order from the south end. I got flustrated and hung up, then called the south PJ's. The told the me the SAME THING, but I needed to order from the first place I called. It was back and fourth. After getting angry enough I just gave up and ordered Pizza Hut instead. It took over an hour for all of this to unfold. The management had rude attitudes, and my experience was completely unsatisfactory.-

Always excellent service and quality food. Is my usual pizza place unless I feel an urge for something else.
