Giovanni's USED to be THE best pizza parlor in Terre Haute. Their noontime buffet, while slightly overpriced, had a wonderful assortment of pizza, pasta and even a small salad bar. Service used to be very good. But in the last few months, the ownership have ceased being 'hands on', and have delegated the daily operations to some people who, to be honest, don't really care. Going into the place for lunch, you will be LUCKY if there's ONE pizza on the buffet. Then after the last slice is taken, they will after being asked SEVERAL times, make ONE more pizza--which takes 12 to 15 minutes. The moment its put on the buffet, it is swarmed over by all the customers, and in less than 1 minutes it, too is gone. Then another 15 minute wait. Add that to the REALLY POOR service, and you would do well to avoid Giovanni's all together.
