Hello all..thanks for all the great reviews. I feel I am lucky to have such a great staff and a great customer base! We have 7 employees that have been with us over a decade!! We get great crowds and have tons of fun! Our food is the best kept secret in town!
I did see one comment below from a Lonah. I am not sure who this person is or what she is referring to. My father passed away in 2003 and neither him or I would have kicked anyone out for the simple reason in her comment. To be kicked out you have to conduct lewd or inappropriate behavior. We run a clean place with security and deal with anyone that may be disruptive. I do find a bit of humor that whoever Lonah is...she has never contacted me about her complaint yet instead posts it on here. As far as asking Emily..she has been away in Vermont at college for the last 4 years and has no knowledge or responsibilities for the bar.
I would like to thank the Lafayette area for a fantastic 13 years where we keep drinking, singing, and laughing together!! Keep the comments coming!!
Eric
Don't know what Lonah is talking about...Phil Cox passed away in 2003. It is now owned by his three lovely children, Eric, Amy and Emily. This is a wonderful place to go to. Everyone is always welcome here, as long as your behavior is respectful. They have a wonderful, friendly staff - great food - and an amazing choice of songs for karaoke. They also have a separate room in the back for pool and darts. The patio is also a very relaxing place to enjoy - with live entertainment on the weekends. I rate this place as the best in town.
This place used to be a pretty good place to hang out with your friends after work. Though after I got barred by Phil Cox for kissing my girfriend (not intimately), I am reluctant to ever go back to that pub. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Curlie and Blondies is a decent place to go to after work. They have room for large pool tables unlike Coxes pub and it's always a good time.
Thumbs down to Cox's
