If you want to shop somewhere where emloyees actually remeber your face,and where you are not only another number on the sales count, shop at petfood center. Employees are friendly and helpful. Yes, they are not as big as petsmart and don't have as big of a selection, but they care about their customers and their community. If you champion small businesses, shop at pet food center.

There fine to get mice from for food. But when they have to take care of reptiles there not to great. I got a baby Savannah Monitor, and the lady did not want to pick it up, nor I don't think they play with the animals to get them tame. Within a week later it died, I don't think Ill ever go back to them for any pets.

i totally disagree. when i went in to look at and possibly purchase a reptile, all of the employees were very helpful. i thought the reptiles were lively. i bought an iguana and it has done just fine and looked beautiful. im really thinking about getting more reptiles from them. everyone is so kind there and i would recommend it to anyone!!! :)
I love the pet food center. I agree everyone there is really nice and yes they do remember you....I go there all the time ...I love the fact that they are not a big chain I feel like it helps the community more. I have bought several pets from there(A sun conure, a couple of hamsters, fish, crabs, and a rabbit, All of which were very healthy and tame and are doing just fine some over a year later. You can tell the employees really care about the animals. I will always be a loyal customer of theirs. They are very knowledgable on their products as well. :) If this store ever reades this I just want to say thanks for being in business and helping our community.......another plus they have never been in the news about neglect on their animals can't say that about the rest....except maybe petco...but they are a large chain not that friendly and i have had problems with some of their birds not to mention they are real expensive.
