    We went to Magdy's for Valentine's Day one year. Don't get me wrong it is a beautiful old house, but the food portions were meager and the choices were strictly limited. It was expensive too. If you are looking for a nice atmosphere and a fancy dinner go to Stables or Moggers.

    Magdy's is a wonderful food and service experience. It is in a historic home from the 1890s, I believe, with beautiful woodwork throughout and fireplaces with mantles in almost every room. Quality food and beverages. A special place for the love of your life.

    Magdy's is a wonderful restaurant. It's quaint and small. It's in an old house that is very nice and remindful of an earlier time. The food is all meticulously put together. The chef is amazing. I've always been very pleased with the food here. I know the chef would never serve anything that he wasn't completely comfortable with.

    If you want a slow or fast dinner, just ask. They'll do whatever you want. It's also rather reasonable priced for what you get. This is probably one of the two most expensive restaurants in Terre Haute, but you'll pay the same as you would for a generic steakhouse in Chicago or Indianapolis. I highly recommend it for a special occasion.
