    Came here at 2pm on a weekday. I visited this Birmingham restaurant in blue jeans. I don't live in Birmingham. This is not very nice if you have dietary restrictions: Requested to know if a specific lunch item had glutton. Waitress was annoyed. Manager was better, she assured me steak with mushroom sauce (sauce had glutton)had no glutton. This was wrong. The cook was wrong. Calling ahead would not help. Its their attitude that is the issue.

    If you DON'T have any dietary restrictions its a good place to eat. If you have dietary restrictions the staff and mgt are annoyed and not very helpful nor knowledgable. Better off going somewhere else. They acted as if I was trying to be a problem and was being diffficult. I only wanted a glutton (wheat/grain)free lunch because of my Celliac Sprue. I pity any one that wants specific details about any of their menu items. I know what I can eat and what I can't. I can't have my steaks zipped (most soy sauce has wheat) In the past w/o my restrictions they were great. The children took over restaurant from parents. This is a updated post. Someone had ranted about people in Birmingham and about me needing a gym membership instead. I have a BMI of 25 and work as a nurse. I don't walk on water and am not a fan of Birmingham either but I used to stop here on the way home from college in Southfield. Its staff attitude not the food.

    Good Food & Good Location: I really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was good and the wait staff was excellent.

    PERFECT EVERY TIME!: I'VE BEEN GOING TO PEABODYS FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND ITS ALWAYS WONDERFUL.CHRISTMAS TIME WITH ALL THE LIGHTS IS MY ONE OF MY FAVORITE.THE WAITSTAFF IS WONDERFUL ESPECIALLY JULIA,DANA,AND ALLISION.I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM THERE FOR ANY REASON.i'VE TAKEN FAMILY,OUT OF TOWN GUESTS,AND BUSINESS CLIENTS THERE FOR ANYTHING FROM A COCKTAIL, GREAT DINNER AND DANCING TO THEIR FABULOUS DESSERTS.JUST FABULOUS!
