User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI don't get to Eastepointe often, but when I do, I visit my sister. She works at Marco's, and besides the fact that she is an awesome cook, everything I've ever eaten at her house was fantastic. Much of that is due to the fact that her meat comes from Marco's Meats & Deli. I don't know if she will give you her recipe for stuffed cabbage, a/ka pigs "n a blanket, but it wouldn't hurt to ask her while you are picking up your meat at Marco's!
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWell all I can say is Marco's is a nice local deli and butcher, But I recently bought some ground CHUCK to bbq some burgers. I went there knowing I would pay about a dollar more a pound(2.79), For what I thought was real honest butcher grade Ground CHUCK, my bugers shrunk so small I was embarassed to serve. I guess ALL STORES stopped doing that 10 years ago trying to save money.The new GROUND CHUCK is more along the lines of ground round and sirloin. I don't mind paying more for what I want , But be honest.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsVery nice deli. If you're looking for a clean, friendly place that always has fresh meats and very good deli style sides for meals this is definitely the place to go. Also keeps a good selection of kitchen staples in stock.
