This store is probably a necessary evil in Oxford. Too bad. If the owner had any competition, she'd be out of business in a heartbeat. Some of the employees are very nice and helpful while others are very loud and feel they must comment on every item you purchase (don't buy condoms there if you don't want it broadcasted throughout the store!). I have acquaintances and my child has highschool friends who have worked at both the Oxford and the Otterbein stores and all have been treated very badly by the owner and manager. The store is usually very dirty. Employees are expected to re-grind hamburger mixing in fresh meat if packages on the shelf have expired. Many items on shelf are often past expiration dates. Prices are typically ridiculous but you'd expect that in a small town store. Overall, avoid the place like the plague unless it's a real emergency.
Average small town grocer: Fellure's IGA or Fellure Foods as it is also known is a typical small town grocery store. They have limited selection as to brands an sizes of the itmes. An they are priced higher then the items in the larger grocery stores or wal-mart. The clerks are friendly, an generally remember all the customers due to it being a small store in a small town. The owner is fairly nice, but almost never there as she also owns an opperates another store as well. The are outragously priced for rental moves. They are $3.75 per rental an they are due back by 6 pm the next day .
