My wife and I enjoyed our dinner at the Tin Fish in Fair Haven for our 22nd wedding anniversary. Our server Amanda yesterday was very nice and helped us with wine selection and other menu items. My Tuna Au Poivre was done "picture perfect". As I told Amanda, I wanted to take a photograph of it. Their Mojitos were, to use a phrase, "fresh". I would recommend it it to anyone.

A bride that is not too happy. I had been corresponding back and forth with one banquet manager and everything was great. Emailed one last time to ensure everything was in place for our ceremony and reception in 3 months and heard nothing from her. Called her 3 times and never recvd a call. Sent one more email and finally recvd an email stating that she was no longer with the company--HOW WEIRD since the I used the email listed on the website and it still is going to someone who is no longer an employee and the contact is still incorrect... She said that she had forwarded my emails and phone calls on and that I need to contact person B. CALLED person B today and she was VERY RUDE. They could not get a permit this year to put the tents up for an outside wedding----WHO WAS GOING TO TELL ME THAT? So when I inquired about having the wedding inside I was told that I would need to pay for the fee for shutting down the dining room for the night-SO i asked how much is that---HOLD ONTO YOUR SEATS---the fee was $25,000.00---then without skipping a beat she asked in her usual rude tone-"so what do you want me to do". Thanks but 3 months before my wedding i will need to find another venue-BECAUSE I WILL NOT PAY A FEE OF 25,ooo.00 because YOU failed to let me know. It's sad to say but I will never eat there again....

Wednesday 6-11-08 7 people for dinner, the waitress served everyone the wrong food, she did not know the different types fish, and she was never around. My fish was ordered blackened came over cooked and not blackened. The bill took 20 minutes after handing her the credit card. then want to go sit at the teaky bar they want 5 dollars to sit there this was after spending 350.00 at dinner talked with the owner she did nothing. I was looking forward to the new tin fish opening at partridge creek, now I will tell everyone how bad the place is.
