User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been going to louies on dequindre in Hazel Park for 26 years.Its the best pizza i've ever tasted,and i'm a picky eater.My dad knew Louie personnally when he was in Detroit.I use to live in Florida for 4 yrs.I would have my brother send me 4 large pizzas every 2 months.I just can't say enough about there pizza,totally awsome !!!!!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI thought nothing I ever ate would compare to Buddy's...I was wrong. There is no better pizza than Loui's. I have tried them all. Supino's was recently rated the best Pizza in metro Detroit....what a joke. Its a top 20 (Wich is saying alot) but it is disrespectful and appalling to mention it in the same breath as Loui's. The service at Loui's leaves something to be desired....The waitresses are old and VERY SLOW and its an old school style pizza parlor. However, if you are going out to eat pizza and a salad...you will be in pizza Nirvana. This is Sicilian style pizza (i.e. thick and square...sauce on top of the cheese). Compare to Cloverleaf, Buddy's and Sheild's only better than all three.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsmy husband and i celebrated our 1 year anniversery there this may, it was where we has our 1st date and where he asked me to marry him our waitress diane/D we love her shes a great waitress and very warm and welcoming, if we had more money we would eat there religously.. we love the pizza and oh my the antipasta salad is to die for mmmmm love it. you guys are great and have a wonderful family atmasphere
