User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best Beer and food for miles. The beers are as good as any English ale. Brews this good are a rare find. I Took the advice and consumed the BLT which is mind blowing. Why oh why did'nt someone think of this before. Truly amazing on every level from location to decor to food to brews to incredible waitstaff this place has it all. It is easily the best in Port Huron today.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of my favorite places. I enjoy the Blue Water Pale Ale the most. It's suposedly made fron the old Kern's Brewery(one of 9 that used to be in Port Huron back in the day)formula. The trouble is you need a special grain for it and it's not always available, so some times they'll be out.That's the price one pays for wanting fresh and authentic things.
We had a wedding rehersal dinner here last year and the prime rib was some of the best I've ever had.
The deserts are fabulous, however the gal that makes them gets bored doing the same stuff all the time so she's always changing the treats.
In the summer, having a beer on their deck watching the boats on the Black River, or just reading a book is a great way to spend an afternoon.
The conversation at the bar is always friendly, but at night,(Thursdays and Fridays) the place is packed.
