One of the best. The nachos are to die for and the lynwood burger is absolutely excellent. The beer is always cold along with several other specialty drinks. I love hanging out here.
TRADITIONAL PLACE: Always a place for nacho's and really cold beer.
Sometimes it gets smoky if you dont smoke BUT the food is good and the fish is very good also.Gets a little crowded at peak times but go at off times and the service is good and fast
Best Fish and Chips in the Area: We go on Friday nights when they have their "all u can eat" fish and chips. Its definitly a small tavern type place that has limited seating, but we find a table within minutes. Its fast paced and nothing fancy. The fish and chips is served in a basket and very generous portions to start with! I have never seen anybody ask for 2nds because it is hard to finish the original serving! The fish is cooked to perfection and the breading is crispy and tastes great! The only drawback, you cannot take leftovers home, even if it is left from your original serving. This bums me out because you feel like you are leaving behind what you paid for. I could understand the "no doggie bag" rule if you ask for 2nds. But for the price, you just learn to stuff yourself and not argue about the 3 peices left in your basket. (napkins and a purse work great when nobody is looking) Other items on the menu are very good also. The Nacho dish is very generous as well.
But if you like fish and chips on a Friday night, this is the place to go! I take my 7 yr old in the evening hours and the bar is very family friendly during dinner time. The staff seems a little overwhelmed at times, but overall they will take care of you with a smile. This is just your small town bar with a huge reputation for the best fish and chips around! I say "go for it!" And plan on sitting around for drinks afterwards, everyone is very friendly.
