With the restaurant business being in his blood Gary then bought a little sports bar on Groesbeck Hwy. and Cass Avenue in Clinton Twp. and named it Gary Mac's Upscale Dive. When another successful restaurant named The Flying Machine became available he bought that and changed the name to The Firehouse. Gary McDonald now owns and operates both establishments. He brought to the new Firehouse the same great food and terrific service that The Firehouse on 16 and Harper was known for. Great atmosphere, great service and great food and drink all add up to one thing - a really great time! Less
