Did not enjoy the experience at all! The menu actually has hidden fees! What kind of mess is that! Couldn't get an answer about prices on certain drinks! I don't like surprises when I am spending my money,tell me what it is so I can decide if I want to spend that amount and the food is not as good. Mr. B's has fallen off. The waitress pretend to be nice and couldn't hear very well. So I and my friends that I connect with on other sites will not go there anymore.
This was truly one of the worst experiences I have had at any bar or restaurant. The service was beyond awful. A friend of mine asked the waiter what the specials were and he replied with a stern NO. Later, we asked for additional drinks and he shouted hold on. He refused to provide separate checks, and of course, caused us to pay 18% gratuity on our bill. I cannot begin to tell you how poor their service is. By reading the reviews, this was not an isolated incident and is a consistent trend at Mr. B's.
The drinks are overpriced, and the atmosphere is poor. Food is merely average. Enjoy one of the many nice bars, clubs, or Microbreweries in Royal Oak. There are too many nice places around the area. Do not give Mr. B's your business.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I order a burger without mushrooms, and it came with mushrooms and nothing else. I informed the waiter and he sent it back to the kitchen and told me "I wrote it down right", and offered no apology. A new burger came 10 minutes later, this time without mushrooms and now the bacon was missing. 10 minutes later, I was able to flag down the waiter and I informed him about the wrong order and his reply was "Why did you wait until now, I've been by twice." In fact, he had not been by twice, but had walked past the table a few times to other tables he was waiting on, never saying a word to us even though I was trying to get his attention. He brought a bowl of bacon and walked off. As he was walking off, we asked to speak to a manager and then he said that he would try to comp my burger. He brought the receipt saying he had comped the burger, but it was still on the bill. We told him and without a word he took the bill and came back later with the new bill. We told him that the experience had been pretty poor and he responded "I know" and laughed. On the way out we talked to the manager, and he said that the next time we we're there to remind him and that "our order would be perfect". There wont be a next time though. This was a horrible experience and I would highly recommend not going here.
