I would rather wear dirty clothes than support: Well, store front is awfully cute with its vintage sign and colors, however, I was shocked that it cost me $8 to clean an ordinary white button down blouse. When I inquired about the price, they said that there were cheaper cleaners up and down Woodward, but that they provided quality. I bought this argument for the time being, not wanting to opt for inferior quality. However, in the three occassions that I visited, once they cleaned a garment with a danging button I had not noticed until it was returned and did not feel compelled to fix it or warn me about it; another time completely forgot to repair the lace which was coming off a slip hem and then charged me for it, even though after they sent it back out, it ended up taking over two weeks, and they do not even offer protection for cleaning garments with sequins or crystals. Oh, and the employees who work there, must be underpaid, because they are always rude. WHERE IS THE SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY. The only thing keeping Janet Davis in business is their self-proclaimed reputation for quality. I get much better results at the $1.89 Cleaners on Woodward and Nakota. I only wish I could rate at less than one star...
