If this place werent so close to my house that I could stumble home, I would probably say that I won't ever go here again. The upstairs is kinda neat with the open air-large window deal but that and the good location is about the only good thing about the place. The service is poor. The food is overpriced and not good and the bathrooms are kinda nasty (can you Duggans people either refill the paper towel and/or fix the hand dryer ever?) I had the nachos recently and they are terrible. The meat is disgusting I dont think they know the first thing about making nachos. You arent supposed to mash in a ramican of guac and salsa into the nachos. I also had a fruit fly stuck in my baked-on cheese. Next time I will save my money and get some from taco bell. The only safe thing to eat might be the Big Chief.
If you are meeting people up at Duggan's, do yourself a favor and suggest somewhere else to go. But if you MUST go, eat at Redcoat Tavern across the street first.
I really want Duggan's to be better and it really sucks that this place sucks now.
My Fiancé really likes this place and I have to say that I have not been disappointed. The French Onion soup is really good.
Low-key casual neighborhood establishment. Great place to watch a game or the Dream Cruise. Great quality food!!! It maybe a bar but the food is better than an average restaurant. Just a real cozy place.
