We've exclusively used ROP for all 4 of our kids over the past two decades and we couldn't ask for better. Yes, we've had the occasional gruff or irritating moment with each of the doctors, but what do you expect over 20 years? These are human beings and, thankfully, human beings that are excellent at what they do.

I've been taking my 3 children here since the birth of my second, two years ago.
Dr. Shaw & Dr. Mannisto are thorough with a good beside manner. Can't say I like Dr. Dodge much, he's abrupt and a little too old school for me. The front desk lady can be a bit cranky some days on the phone, but she always gets us in if we call for an appointment on short notice or emergency.
Sometimes the wait can be close to unbearable but at least the staff apologizes for it and I've always been told that there’s more of a wait for a more in demand doctor.

I have been going to Royal Oak Pediatrics with my 4 kids for 24 years. I love Dr. Mannisto. She is kind, caring and compassionate. She will always make you feel like you are the only patient she has to see all day; even when the waiting room is full you will not be rushed.You can always get a same day sick child appointment; you will probably have to wait once you get there, but they do "work you in" as quickly as they can. They have 2 waiting rooms and lots of toys and books, and a big aquarium. All the staff is kind and caring. The 4 doctors (2 male and 2 female) have many years of experience between them. They respond quickly to on call issues and have weekend hours. Some times they will keep the office open after hours if you can't get there early in the day. I would highly recommend any of the doctors in this practice.
