User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent Thai food! I've been to Thailand and this is as close to it that I can find. The orange chicken is my favorite! In fact, it is so good that I haven't been able to try anything else off the menu!! Also, everything is priced reasonably and the restaurant has always been clean and the staff friendly.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLove the Sy Thai, probably the best thai place in Detroit, I prefer this location to the one in Birmingham, it seems the portions are bigger in St. Claire Shores. One problem is if it is really crowded the service can be kind of slow, but usually it is very attentive. Good prices, tons of food on the dinner menu, LOVE the Drunken Noodles. The spices are perfect, I usually order hot and it has been very consistently spiced. Will continue to go to the Sy Thai, my girlfriend and I love the food.

Let me tell you the best item on the menu although they all rule. The peanut curry (medium) you need to have it with rice to soak up all the wonderful peanut curry gravy, get chicken for the meat and you are in Sy Thai heaven. It has a great kick, but hey you dont go there for mild food anyways. Its just wonderful, please go there and get this dish.
