Creekside is well lit, clean, and fairly smoke free. The food is overpriced, and I believe it's one of those places that has carefully used fancy phrasing in its menu ("Succulent Italian Seafood Filet"), when in fact the entrees are nothing but Cisco and GFS bulk/frozen food. The green beans were definitely from a bag. Despite the prices, the clientele always surprises me -- it looks like overflow from Banfield's Westside bar down the road: hoodies, mullets, grubby jeans, Wings jackets.
tv's galore, not big enough: nice bar, with football and sports, bar is small though
decor is oak, yuk
lots of tv's
food is weak
Great food, but a little pricey: The food was excellent, there are a lot of menu choices such as Salads, BBQ ribs and chicken, Pasta (usually paired with seafood or chicken), Seafood (Whitefish, Lobster, Crab, Shrimp), Prime Rib on the weekends. So many menu items sounded good, it was really hard to make up my mind. Alot of items have applewood bacon in them, and are paired with smashed yukon gold potatoes (can we say fat and carbs?) so if you are watching what you eat, stear clear of those. During the summer they have seating on the Balcony outdoors. The service was slow last time I went, and it was late on a Friday (8:30-9:30pm). There was no wait to get in. We had a server swicheroo in the first ten minutes of being seated. The food seemed to take a while getting out long after we finished our salads and rolls. I'd rate the salad and roll 3 out of 5-- just ok. The main course was the scene stealer: Lobster Ravioli in a rich creamy sauce with shrimp, scallops, crab, and more lobster. Didn't look like much on the plate but very filling. I had to take half of it home. Excellent dish overall. The price was a little steep at $17.95, although it did include the salad. I would've liked to see a vegetable in there of some kind. All in all, a good experience. I plan to go back, maybe just for lunch when the prices are more affordable.
