User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsive gone to benihana twice and the food was always good and they serve u a lot. the service people r friendly but the second time i came my waiter wasn't that great and the man cooking for me didn't do any cool tricks really like the man tht cooked for me before did.the prices are higher than average but i would say its worth it. but yeah its a place i would recommend.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBenihana Restaurant (Troy, MI): So many have told me to go and I finally did. My fiance and I thorougly enjoyed our selfs at this Japanese Restaurant. It's priced just right and the atmosphere was great. Theres 8 people to a table which has a giant grill connected. The chef was cooking right at our table and doing tricks with the food...NICE! I like interacting with new people, so this was great setting for me. Not an intimate appeal, more of a social one for family, friends, and parties.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsBenihana's!: I love eating with chopsticks! And here you get a free set to eat with! It definitely makes the $20-25 a plate dinner worthwhile. As does the chef doing cheesy tricks like flipping shrimp tails into his hat! The sushi is above average and fairly priced. The staff is ho-hum. But I figure they assume they can short you on the good customer service since they are a high-end restarant. This is a great date spot or group setting...if you don't mind the high prices. If you seek privacy, the seating arrangement of 8 won't be your cup of tea. Overall, I think this place is worth the high bill. The food is delicious and I'm a ppl watcher. I'm also easily entertained! Make sure you order extra rice if you don't like small portions!
