| About: | Our approach to cooking is "contemporary cuisine ~ methode traditionelle" which offers Contemporary French cuisine based on the philosophy of French cooking ~ It features North African, West African, Cuban and Vietnamese influences based on classic French technique. User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFresh, high quality ingredients prepared with care and knowledge; what more can you ask for. At their best the items on the menu are highly original and at their worst cliche and pretentious. But consistently good and one of the best Ann Arbor has to offer. Eve does a nice job using seasonal produce as well.

have been to eve several times over 3 years (am a2/ktown local). can only say: worst service. rudest service. most disgusting service (last time: butt scratching waitress who also ran fingers thru hair before serving our food. ) couldn't be more of a turn off. food takes ages - too long even for good food. creepy host/seating duo. needs real management. asap. would not recommend.

Eve is on par with any new trend in any major cities. Bar none, the best dining experience I have had in 14 years in SE MI. This is a staff that understands choreography and dining.
From reservations through our meal, the staff was gracious and thoughtful (ask for the special bricked in booth!).
Once through the extensive and excellent wine list, our meal, beginning with appetizer was impeccable - a bed of arugula with a confit of italian something (delicious but sorry to forget the name) Our server was well informed and we are glad we took the suggested 'Simple Fish'. This is were the choreography comes in - we had several unavoidable interruptions (cell phone/business) yet the staff paced our meal and the fish arrived absolutely perfect. Often fish will over cook under the warmers - this arrived at the perfect time and it was the best meal I have had in a decade. Looked at the dessert menu but portions were generous so didn't try.
Eve is now my favorite place :)
