I found out this place does table side desserts so I decided I must drive up to Dixboro tonight! Amazing bananas foster, I think it is the best dessert I have ever had, period. The server was great and they prepared the dessert and flamed it at our table. Wow, the menu is fantastic looking, wish I could have tried some entrees like the Beef Wellington or Roasted Duckling, next time and I will update. I also noticed that have a VERY extensive wine list and some nice scotch, next date I have we will be heading there!

My girlfriend and I visited the Lord Fox last weekend for her birthday. I wanted it to be a special night and that's exactly what we got. Properly prepared cocktails, the wine stewart found us a great bottle under $40, and our server was very passionate about providing us a nice evening. He spent a lot of time at the table (we ordered two table sides - the salad and bananas foster.

My husband and I set out to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with a special dinner out. I have wanted to dine at Lord Fox for quite some time. What a disappointment! We both ordered house specials and what we received was not special at all! The food was not prepared well (overdone and/or burned) and was not at all tasty. My husband's comment was that "it was the worst duck that he had ever had." To put it nicely, since our "special" evening out, we have both had upset stomachs. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Lord Fox.
