My experience with this salon was extremely stressful. We were there for my daughter's wedding. I didn't want an updo, but was pressured to do one. My makeup was much too heavy. I looked like I was ready for Halloween. Then, to make matters worse, we were charged quite a bit more than originally quoted by the owner and told that we were wrong. The ladies who were there before us also complained about the makeup being too heavy. WE were anything but pleased when we left.

Be careful here unless you want to be gouged. They quote you one price and then charge you another at the end. Their stylists don't care what you request for your event, they insist you must want an updo. Of course this is because they can charge more for updos!

Any changes I requested to makeup or hair were argued over and I was told they would not change anything more even though I only asked for one minor modification. Considering I was told I wouldn't leave the place unless I was satisfied with my look, it's interesting the staff would argue with you over looking the way you want to.

When deciding what they are going to do, they speak in their home language and not English and they don't explain to the customer what they will be doing. They do not clean their makeup brushes after each use, so who knows what is growing on them.

They even insulted another customer while I was in there saying her natural eyelashes looked horrible. From what I could hear, the customer has a medical condition causing issues with her eyelashes.

Anyway, let's just say I walked out of there paying over a $100 more than I was quoted and looking nothing like what I requested.

Coiffeur D'Elegance has the best service i have ever experienced at a beauty salon it has all the updated equipment and its a 5 star Salon.
