Sam's is a classic Ann Arbor, one-of-a-kind store. They have all the jeans you'll ever want to try on, and they're local, not a chain looking for a quick profit and no relationship with their customers. Down side is that the Levis distributors aren't well-oiled at keeping re-stock of sizes flowing. They have great socks -- you must rummage through the sock deal bin and grab a new bandanna while there. Nice guys (no women clerks?). Classic high tops, great hats, shirts for all seasons. I'd be there more if parking were easier. Grab a bite to eat at Afternoon Delight a few doors down, and a pair of jeans from Sam's, and your Ann Arbor hip quotient is high. I've been getting my jeans there for over 20 years. Yikes. At least Sam's is still hip...

This store has an awesome selection of levi jeans. Almost every style and wash available, mens and womens. They also have a lot of cool hats, and bandanas for $1 or $2. They also have uniquely colored converse chuck taylor's. They may not have a lot of different things, but they have exactly what i was looking for: jeans. I think they also have shirts and stuff, but i can remember.
