I was not happy. I called for a carry-out - large greek salad. I asked if they used romaine lettece - they said yes. I told them I wanted two dressings. They said the salad would feed four. I drove 10 miles roundtrip to get this salad. When I got home, the salad was made with iceberg lettece, only one dressing and it barely fed two. And normally, I just love Middle Eastern Cuisine. I guess I'll have to try yet another restaurant for my greek salads.

Best Middle Eastern Food on the BLOCK...This place serves great hot meals for a easy going price ( you always have enough leftovers for tomorrows lunch). I personally like how the food is prepared fresh, and the ingredients used are even fresher. Al-Ameer is by far the best middle eastern restuarant out there.
I have researched this place many times and only heard great things about it. Try it yourself and see!

Not sure what happened but I never felt so sick after eating a meal. I have ate here before and the food does usally taste great. Hopefully just a one time unfortunate accident. Also the chicken was bone dry. I had the shwarma meal and all of the sides were great but I think the cook shaved off the top of the rotisserie that had been under the heat too long. As for why I was so sick, I hope it wasn't a clean hands issue. It left me ill through the whole night.
